The Best Laid Schemes series is a 5 part immersive, cooking program produced for distribution on digital streaming and VOD platforms. Created by the James Beard nominated Chef Studio, each season of the self titled “Chef Studio,” explores a different topic or subject and aims to bring back the magic and wonder of food. This season focuses on Scotland. Each episode features the creation of one fantastical dish inspired by Scotland’s beautiful landscape, history and culture. Viewers are led, step by step through the creation of each dish with each episode culminating in a final plating scene featuring music by composer, Katharine Petkovski. To create an immersive experience for the viewer, light effects using projections, VFX and LED screen backdrops were used in the creation of the series.
